Skywriter

Custom Marketing Site

A custom marketing website, brand-matched to your business, wired straight into your Crew. One-time build, no recurring fee. Designed for the trades, not for design awards.

What Skywriter does

Skywriter is a one-time, fixed-price website build — not a recurring subscription. We design and ship a 5-7 page marketing site (home, about, services, service-area, reviews, contact, optional blog), copy written in your voice, every contact form wired into your Wingman dashboard so leads land where the rest of your Wingmen can act on them. Hosted on our platform under your domain (or a subdomain if you prefer). Two-week build window from kickoff to live, then it's yours — we hand off and you own it. There's no monthly fee because we're not running it for you; if you need ongoing changes you can buy them as Solo Act time or just keep it as-is.

Capabilities

Built to do this every day.

01

5-7 page custom marketing site

Home, about, services (one page per major service line), service-area, reviews, contact. Optional blog if you want it. Mobile-first, fast, SEO-clean.

02

Brand-matched design

Built around your existing brand if you have one, or we'll establish basic brand guidelines as part of the build if you don't. Not template-flavor; actually designed.

03

Copy in your voice

Our copywriter (assisted by AI) interviews you, drafts the site copy, and runs two rounds of revisions with you before publishing. Reads like you wrote it.

04

Lead capture wired to our platform

Every form on the site (contact, quote request, service-area lookup, blog opt-in) creates a contact in your with the source tagged, ready for Harper or any other Wingman to act on.

05

our platform hosting at no extra cost

Lives on our platform under your domain. Fast everywhere. SSL, CDN, all the boring stuff handled. Hosting is included; there's no separate bill from us going forward.

06

Clean handoff at go-live

On go-live, you get repo access (GitHub), deployment access (our platform), and a written runbook for making basic edits yourself. The site is yours, not ours.

On the job

In the field

Real scenarios.

Trade business with no real website

You've been running a 6-figure plumbing business off a Facebook page and word of mouth, and you finally need somewhere to send leads that doesn't look amateur.

Skywriter ships a 5-page site in two weeks — home, services, service-area (the four cities you cover), reviews (auto-pulled from your GBP), contact. Every form lands in your CRM and Harper picks up the leads. You spent two hours on the interview, reviewed two copy drafts, and that's it.

Outdated site you can't update yourself

You've got a 2018 WordPress site you can't log into, the original developer is gone, and the agency is quoting $8k for a redesign.

Skywriter rebuilds the site fresh on our platform, migrates the content that's still relevant, drops what isn't, and hands you a repo you (or any developer) can edit going forward. Hosting cost drops to effectively zero.

What you'll connect

Integrations

Required connections need to be wired before Skywriter can fly. We'll guide you through every one during onboarding.

  • Your domain

We point it to the new site on go-live

  • Your Wingman dashboard

So form submissions land where the Wingmen can see them

  • +

    Brand assets (logo, colors) Optional

Use what you have; we'll fill the gaps if you don't

  • +

    Google Business Profile Optional

For pulling live review snippets onto the site

  • +

our platform account (we provision under ours by default) Optional

Or your own if you want to own hosting day one

What gets deployed

Inside the build

When your estimate is accepted, our system automatically deploys these artifacts to your Wingman dashboard. No copy-paste, no manual setup.

  • 5-7 page custom marketing website (Astro + Tailwind, same stack as growthwingman.com)
  • Written copy across every page (interview-driven, two revision rounds)
  • Lead-capture forms wired to your via automation → contact creation with source tag
  • our platform deployment with SSL + custom domain configured
  • Basic on-page SEO (meta, schema, sitemap, robots) — not an ongoing SEO engagement
  • GitHub repo with full source, transferred to your account at handoff
  • Written runbook for making text edits + a 30-minute handoff walkthrough call

Ideal for

Service businesses whose existing website is either non-existent, embarrassing, or owned by a vendor they can't reach — and who'd rather not commit to another monthly subscription to fix it.

FAQ

Common questions.

Is this just a service? +

Yes, and we're up front about it: Skywriter is a one-time website build done by humans (designer + copywriter + developer), not a piece of recurring software. We brand it as a Wingman so it sits cleanly in the tier; the work itself is a fixed-price project.

What's different from the v1 tier? +

Everything else in Growth Wingman is recurring software you pay for monthly. Skywriter is a one-time fee with no monthly. You pay once, you get a site, it's yours.

What's the SLA? +

Two-week build window from kickoff to go-live, assuming you turn around copy reviews within 2 business days each. If we miss the window because of something on our side, you get a 20% refund.

What happens if I want changes after go-live? +

Three options: edit the text yourself using the runbook (free, easy stuff like phone numbers, service-area copy), buy Solo Act hours (for bigger changes), or hire any developer (you own the repo). We don't lock you in.

Why no monthly fee? +

Because we're not running anything for you after handoff. Hosting on our platform is effectively free, the lead-capture pipe just lives in your, and the repo is yours. We'd rather charge once for honest work than tack on a recurring fee that doesn't earn its keep.
